God has an incredible purpose for your life!

Growth Tracks are designed to help you connect with your purpose and will help you to explore what it looks like to know God’s love, to connect with church, to find freedom from fear, to discover your purpose and make a difference with your life! The 5 different tracks are outlined below.

We would encourage everyone to go on each of these courses, starting with Alpha if you have never been before. Even mature Christians will find new revelation and deeper understanding by working through the Growth Track.

Alpha is an opportunity to explore life and the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. The course runs for 10 weeks and each session looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Topics include ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘Why and how do I pray?’

Alpha runs in a variety of venues and settings across the world.

What To Expect

We start we desserts and refreshments before gathering for a presentation. This is usually around thirty minutes long and played as a video on screen.

Then there is the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and discuss it in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say. It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.

Intro to Arun is an opportunity to find out more about Arun Church including our vision, values and history. It is a great follow on from Alpha or for newcomers to the church and runs for 5 weeks.

What To Expect

Like Alpha, we start we desserts and refreshments before gathering together. The course is run by members of the church leadership and each session will present on topics such as beliefs, vision, and structure before allowing space for discussion together.

Freedom In Christ is a 10-week course helping Christians become fruitful disciples of Jesus.

It starts by establishing a sure foundation of our identity in Jesus, then gives us the tools to break free and stay free from everything that holds us back, with a strategy for ongoing transformation!

What to Expect

Like all Growth Track courses, Freedom In Christ starts with desserts and refreshments before gathering together. The evening is presented through videos on screen, with regular intervals to talk and discuss the content in smaller groups.

There will also be opportunities to pray with others as you learn to let go of things that hold you back from your relationship with Jesus.

Emotionally Healthy Spirituality is an 8-week course that equips people to develop a personal, first-hand relationship with Jesus by incorporating stillness, silence and Scripture as daily life rhythms.

The course addresses the reality that emotional maturity and spiritual maturity are inseparable. It is not possible to be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature. Therefore the course requires participants to be willing and able to be self-reflective and open to learning.

What To Expect

Like all Growth Track courses, Emotionally Healthy Spirituality starts with desserts and refreshments before gathering together and working through the Emotionally Healthy Spirituality book and workbook. There will be elements of reading, Bible study and discussion in small groups with participants expected to read chapters between sessions.

Life To The Full is designed to help you discover your purpose and where to make a difference. It is ideal for anyone who has already completed the Freedom in Christ and Emotionally Healthy Spirituality courses.

The course explores different character and personality styles, as well as spiritual gifts.

What To Expect

Like all Growth Track courses, Life To The Full starts with desserts and refreshments before gathering together for presentation and discussion.

Each Track will be held at the Wickbourne Centre on Tuesday evenings from 7pm and will start with light refreshments. Dates for the next Growth Track courses are highlighted below, and usually start at the beginning of each academic term (September, January and April). Click the course info to book your place.
