Arun Church is looking for an Apprentice Youth Support Worker (Level 3) to support our youth club sessions, mentoring, and activities with young people facing complex challenges. This is part of Arun Youth Projects, our community youth service which includes youth clubs, detached work and targeted support.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who is keen to develop their skills in youth work. You don’t need to have all the answers — just a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and a heart for supporting young people through life’s challenges. As an Apprentice Youth Support Worker, you will be a valued member of the team, learning on the job while actively contributing to the delivery of high-quality youth work. You’ll be supported through training, mentoring, and supervision to develop the skills and confidence needed to thrive in a youth work career. On completion of the Apprenticeship you will have a Level 3 Youth Work qualification.
This post is funded by BBC Children In Need.
Appointment to the post will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
