We need enthusiastic people to help across our activities, from youth workers to baristas and befrienders! No matter your age or experience, there's a team that you can join.
As part of our safer recruitment practices, we have a 3-stage process for new volunteers:
- A Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Check - this is for anyone over 16 who is likely to come into contact with children, young people or vulnerable adults as part of their volunteering role. There is no cost for this.
- References - we'll ask you to supply the information of two people who can vouch for you.
- Training - we ask volunteers to complete free short online courses relevant to their role. This usually includes an Introduction to Safeguarding Children, but may also include things like Food Hygiene or Working at Height, depending on the role.
